Kingdoms Progress Report

It’s been nearly 4 weeks since Kingdoms was added to Darkest Dungeon II. Since launch, we have received an overwhelmingly positive response to the new game mode, and our first adventure module, Hunger of the Beast Clan. We wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone for your support, and feedback.

Over the past few weeks, our team has spent time collecting community suggestions. We are currently working to implement some of the most common requests into our next big Kingdoms release, which is currently scheduled for an early April launch on PC and Mac. We look forward to sharing more about what you can expect closer to launch!

In addition to some community requested features, our second module, Secrets of the Coven, is also in active development. In this adventure module you will follow clues to uncover and eradicate a coven of mysterious witches before they take control of your Kingdom.

Console Updates!

We’re almost there! Both Kingdoms: Hunger of the Beast Clan and the Inhuman Bondage DLC are just a few weeks away from our first round of console releases.

We will be submitting our first build to PlayStation for certification before the end of February. Depending on certification timing, we’re aiming to release Kingdoms and Inhuman Bondage on PlayStation by mid-March.

Please note that our second Kingdoms module, Secrets of the Coven, will not be included in this initial Kingdoms PlayStation launch, and we hope to have it arrive there a few weeks after that module arrives on PC.

Xbox and Nintendo Switch players, we’re working on your updates as well! Due to the longer certification processes and additional optimization work required for Switch specifically, both Kingdoms and Inhuman Bondage will come to these platforms later this spring.
